CK Cattle is proud to be a family operation led by Chris and Kristi Effling, along with their children, Cagney and her husband Hadley Schotte, Chesney, and Kenidey. Kristi’s parents, Lanny and Jayne Wager, and her brother Dusty and his wife Aimee Wager, along with their children, make up Wager Cattle.

Together, our families are committed to raising functional, high-quality cattle built to perform in a wide range of production environments. Our cowherd is split between pastures north of Highmore and the river hills northwest of Gettysburg, South Dakota.
